I designed the compositions help to navigate through the exhibition. They explain and narrate the way in which the people will move though-out the Schroder House Personal Computers Exhibition.
I have produced 4 hand-drawn images that consist of the floor plans and each section of the exhibition. The coloured images are hand painted and explore different media. Aspects of these drawings and are going to be scanned and developed further in Photoshop.
I have created 24 textures using different types of media. I used wax to create a dotted surface and Gesso (a fast drying paint) to create a textured surface. It performs like 'plaster'.
I have slowly begun to add in the railing around the decks and gathering information about the width of the decks and where the railing meets the walls.
I have slowly began to add in the windows and the doors. These are two important components of the Schroder house as it is famous for the 'invisible corner' windows.
I have constructed my floor plans of the Schroder house into a 3D model that now lets me build up the walls and begin to give the house a 'model' like structure.
